Description: Beginning our 29th year in business, Court Street has seen many changes over the years. From humble, but fun-filled beginnings, Court Street has emerged as a fixture in Hoboken's restaurant scene. We have grown as Hoboken has grown - from serving hot dogs from a push cart to being rated "Excellent" by Zagat's, as one of the "Top 50 Best Dining Values in New Jersey", and receiving 7 Wine Spectator Awards. In addition, AOL City Guide rated our Brunch “City’s Best Top 10” for Northern New Jersey. We stress quality, consistency, and value. We offer a broad selection of food – Fresh Seafood, Steaks, Veal, Pastas, Burgers, Salads and more. Our dining room is casual, yet elegant. Our bar is warm and friendly, a place where you can actually hold a conversation while you enjoy a beer, watch the game, and enjoy anything from a Burger with fries to a Lobster dinner. (The dinner menu is available in the bar in addition to the bar menu.) Named after the original cobble stone street on which it is located, (61 Sixth St between Hudson & Washington) Court Street is “off the beaten path” and one of Hoboken’s “best kept secrets”. Kitchen Hours: 4:30pm-11pm Mon-Sat, 4:30pm-10pm Sun, Late night Bar Menu Fri & Sat until Midnight.

Description: The Madison Bar and Grill is filled with the sort of ambiance and class that is usually reserved for Manhattan eateries. The formal dining room is cleverly decorated in a 1940s style reminiscent of a chic roadside inn. The décor works an evocative, magical mood, with bare wood floors, wainscoted walls, soft lighting and subtle touches from a bygone era. |

Description: Slow Food is good, clean and fair food. We believe that the food we eat should taste good; that it should be produced in a clean way that does not harm the environment, animal welfare, or our health; and that food producers should receive fair compensation for their work.
We consider ourselves co-producers, not consumers, because by being informed about how our food is produced and actively supporting those who produce it, we become a part of and a partner in the production process.”
In other words, knowing not only where our food comes from, but how it was produced and who produced it, helps to assure that what a patron receives on their plate is the best it can possibly be. This just seems obvious to us. |
