Amanda’s has been delighting customers for over 25 years. Guests enter our elegantly restored brownstones and are warmly welcomed by an accommodating staff. Although geographically close to Manhattan and certainly as culinary sophisticated, we’re not slow to smile and truly aim to please each guest. FAQs
We offer a weekday lunch in the weeks preceding the December holidays. Amanda’s can be opened Monday through Friday during the day for large groups. Please contact us if you are interested in planning a weekday luncheon.
Yes, children are welcome at Amanda’s. We can offer a children’s pasta with butter & cheese or tomato sauce. At brunch, we can offer a plate of scrambled eggs and potatoes. We have highchairs available upon request.
We do ask that you consider an early reservation when dining with young children.
No jacket is required. We suggest neat casual. Those who like to dress up will not feel out of place in a black dress and pearls. Devotees of blue jeans will also feel welcome.
There are two steps from the sidewalk to Amanda’s front door. Two members of our strong staff are always available to negotiate that incline. We also have a wheelchair accessible bathroom on the main floor.
Our Mile Square city sometimes offers a parking challenge. Hence, we recommend parking at 12th and Shipyard Lane at the Independence Garage. We will validate for 3 hours for a reduced price of $8. Guests may purchase an additional validation sticker if needed. Bring your parking stub with you for validation.
Note: Do not pay the parking deck. Bring your ticket to the restaurant for validation.
We are unable to offer reduced price parking to Early Dinner guests. However, if street parking is unavailable, we suggest parking at the deck at 12th and Hudson St. and purchasing a validation sticker at our bar for $10.
